Kotrana is an invite-only strength training tracker for workout planning, logging, progress analysis, Apple Watch companion use, and optional Apple Health integration.
The app may store account details such as your email address, plus profile details you enter, such as name, age, biological sex, body weight, unit preference, fitness goal, exercises, routines, workout sessions, machine photos, training readiness data, and app settings.
If you enable Apple Health, Kotrana may read sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, and related recovery metrics. Health data is used only to provide fitness and recovery features in the app.
If you sign in, Kotrana uses Firebase Authentication and Firestore to authenticate your invite-only account and sync your app data. If you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, those providers process sign-in information according to their own policies.
We use data to run app features, save and sync your training data, provide progress and readiness recommendations, support Apple Watch and Live Activity features, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining.
Some data is stored locally on your device. If account sync is enabled, data may also be stored in Firebase services. You can delete your account from Settings, which removes app data associated with your account and resets the local app state.
If you add machine photos, the app uses photo access for that feature. Local notification features are used for app functionality such as rest timer alerts when enabled.
You can disable Apple Health access in iOS Settings, sign out, or delete your account from the app. You can also delete the app to remove local app data from your device.
Kotrana provides fitness information only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise program if you have health concerns.
For privacy questions, contact the app developer through the support address listed on the App Store product page.
